From Discipleship to Leadership
In this workshop, Rev. Jackson trains church leadership by outlining the importance of three critical areas of being a church leader: personal leadership, Christian leadership, and ministry leadership. He stresses the fact that leaders must first be disciples if they’re going to be effective leading ministries.
Using The Holy Bible and his book “Are We Still Making Disciples” as a reference, this workshop is both educational and enriching for those that are in attendance.
Key thought: “Discipleship and leadership are two different ships. The believer shouldn’t get on one without getting on the other first.”
Millennials in Ministry
Workshop Objective: To give tools and understanding that will motivate and mobilize the millennial generation of the church so that they might effectively evangelize to their peers and lead them to Christ.
Workshop Overview: Throughout this course, we examine the role that millennials can play in both the local and global church, their call to evangelism, and their knowledge of Christian doctrine. We will also discuss the changing dimensions of the local church congregation and how we can implement fresh ideas without diluting or disregarding the Word of God.
Theme Scripture: “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12 (NKJV)
Transparency without judgment or compromise
Workshop Objective: To give tools and understanding to evangelical Christians on how we can reach the unsaved through transparency in our own lives, without compromising the principles of God and His Word.
Workshop Overview: Throughout this workshop, we show how our transparency can be a tool for witnessing and disciple making if used the right way, but also a hindrance if used the wrong way. We also examine how we can use observation instead of judgement in order to point people to Christ.
Theme Scripture: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23 (KJV)
Eden Principles: God’s plan for love, marriage, and the family
Workshop Objective: To give instruction to the church on how we can and should build the Christian family according to God’s original design, as spelled out in His Word, and not according to our own ideas.
Workshop Overview: In this workshop (which was created by Rev. Jackson and originally based on his first published work Temporarily Disconnected), we examine all of the ways in which man has diluted God’s plan, and thus complicated his own life, by not doing things according to what was outlined in The Bible. We examine the first relationship (between man and God), our relationship with one another, and our relationship with our offspring. We ultimately look to re-establish what God had originally established for mankind and his family.
Rev. Jackson has also taught several Bible classes on Christian fundamentals, salvation, and prayer. If you would like to invite Rev. Jackson to your church to facilitate or teach, you can reach him by phone at 313-570-0782, or via email at krjministries@gmail.com.
